The springs come early to the area, and falls are very pleasant. Winters are quite mild, with most of the snow falling over a few weeks in December and January. For many, this climate is absolutely perfect.
The real estate market in Kamloops over the past few years has spiked as it has throughout the province. Kamloops is still priced fairly well however when you compare with Kelowna to the south and the cities of the GVRD to the west which is a big reason for the influx of people to the area.
